The engine of a new plane that’s about to fly to Israel is on fire
The engine that power a new Boeing 737-800 airplane is on the verge of being rebuilt by Israel’s aerospace company after overheating.
The engine was part of a prototype plane that was being built at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in the city of Ashkelon.
The aircraft is the first of a class of new jets Israel has been developing in cooperation with China.
A video of the engine overheating shows it starting to crack, followed by flames shooting from the engine.
It took the company about two weeks to get the engine working again.
This is the engine that will power a plane from Israel to China, where it will be sold to the Chinese government, a source close to the project said.
The engine is part of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a jetliner designed by Boeing Co. and built by a joint venture of Boeing and Airbus Group SA.
When the plane was tested last year, its wing broke, which damaged the wing structure.
The plane was designed to be used for military transport, but it has been in service for almost 10 years.
The new aircraft will be built at a factory in the Israeli city of Mefa.
“The first test flight of the 787-9 will take place in December.
We are still in the early stages of building this airplane, but we expect to have it ready for service in the second half of 2020,” a Boeing spokesman told the Israeli news agency Maariv.
About 1,000 of the new planes are scheduled to be built in Israel, and the others will be exported.
The airline, which operates from Israel’s Golan Heights to the West Bank, is already expanding its service to the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday, the Israeli airline announced that it had reached an agreement with Qatar Airways, the country’s national carrier.
